AD Edwards

Founder & Principal Researcher

AD Edwards is the Founder and Principal Researcher of the Center for AI & Cyber Excellence. Her work focuses on designing governance, risk, and oversight frameworks for organizations deploying AI in production environments, with particular emphasis on accountability, decision rights, operational control, and enterprise-scale AI risk management.

She has contributed to enterprise AI governance initiatives across regulated industries and participates in the advancement of AI governance through standards development, professional education, and technical communities.

Her current research examines operational oversight for multi-agent AI ecosystems, governance of autonomous decision-making, enterprise AI assurance, and mechanisms for preserving meaningful human authority as AI systems become increasingly distributed across organizations and vendors.
